Day 3 Resources:
Free Tool Flywheel - 3 Day Workshop:Day 3
=================================
[00:00:00] We are here, I hope Hello out there. Give us a big hello in the chat if you're seeing us. If you're hearing us say give a warm, big warm greeting to Colin and I and Colin, thanks again for joining me for yet another day and Oh yeah. Helping out here. No problem. Yeah, let's get it done. Alright, and yeah, so we're here for day three and you know, I just realized I did not even open the chat panel.
Let me go over there and
get in there so that I can chat with everybody.
All right. Okay. There's the
hellos. Hello. Hello. Now I can see it. Fantastic. So today we're gonna be talking about, I think what most people's favorite part of this whole thing is. It's getting [00:01:00] users and getting money. We want users of our app. We want money coming in the door. And that's what today sort of, it all comes together today for those two things.
And so, we're gonna talk about that and that, and actually Colin is a perfect person to chat with. 'cause he is like right at the cusp of that, like he is Right. Starting that process right now. So he's a little ahead of all you guys, but, but not much. Yeah. So, and so we'll, we'll be talking about what those steps are, and I'm gonna be giving Colin of advice as well as all of you on how to approach this.
And yeah, I got a lot of good stuff, a lot of good stuff. And let me get my show notes up here so I can actually follow the plan that I'm supposed to follow today.
Okay, here we go.
And lemme just make this bigger so I can see it without squinting at the screen from all the way over here.[00:02:00]
And there we have it. Okay. Awesome, awesome. All right. So, yeah, at this stage we're gonna go through those two topics and also I wanna let you know that I am gonna be leaving the mentorship offer that I made yesterday. I'm gonna leave that open and through. Sunday night. We we're gonna start next week.
So those of you who were interested in that offer, you're thinking about joining it. Just know that we're starting that next week. And I have some more stuff. I'm stacking in some bonuses that I'm gonna be adding to that program. I'll tell you more about those in a little bit. So that will remain available until Sunday night.
And then we will be starting next week with the everyone who joins. And I think, so Colin, is there any, I don't think there's any housekeeper or anything we need. I should just dive in. What do you think? Yeah, sounds good. Okay. Awesome. Awesome. All right, well, I'll hijack the screen and we'll get started.
All
right.[00:03:00]
Okay. Okay, so at this point, let's do a quick recap of where you should be at. So on day one, we learned about the Ikigai method of using that Japanese philosophy to pick a niche market. Then I gave you a research method to go out and find juicy problems, like really frustrating annoying problems that your niche market is having.
And then you're using AI to analyze it and decide which one you want to go after to solve with your app. And remember, we're looking for one sort of category or one type of problem, and we're gonna make one single app to solve one single problem. And then on day two, I showed you how to then go and build that app and then dropped on your replay pages.
For day two, by the way, are all the prompts, the, we have a prompt that you need and some instructions on how you connect up [00:04:00] your domain name to your email marketing platform, to your build the app, and the whole thing comes together, and then every new user who comes into your app gets subscribed to your email marketing list.
So, and and that's what you'll have, you need all those steps done in order to then start with what we're gonna cover in day three today which is where we now start getting users to our apps. So that's kind of a recap of what you should have completed up until now. If you're struggling with that, you ha need some additional help, then we're gonna do a, a round of q and a a little bit later.
So I'm gonna do today's training, then we'll do some q and a at the end. And and then don't forget, you all have a bonus day that is happening on Friday, so you'll be getting more emails about that. But there'll be a bonus day and that's actually, I'm not gonna be there. It'll be my team who's gonna be there to support you.
I will actually be in Las Vegas. So, so I'm gonna be celebrating my anniversary in Las Vegas while you guys have your [00:05:00] bonus day. And that's designed to help you you know, implement and get results. That's what that's all about. And then of course next week I begin with the mentorship of all the people that join our upgrade offer.
And lemme silence my notifications so I can stop making sounds there. And yeah, so that's where we're at now. And so let's start talking about how we get users moving forward at this point. The beauty of this tactic, and the reason why I call it a flywheel is because it works like a circle. Feeds back on itself over and over.
And so when you go out and you've done that initial research, you found places all over the web that people are complaining about that problem. And hopefully you've been able to, if you're taking a problem, it should be one that is being discussed in multiple places. And you probably saw it on Facebook groups, you probably saw it on school groups, probably saw it in forums all [00:06:00] over the web.
And then of course on Reddit. And so what we are going to do is we're gonna use those same places that we mind to get our, our research. We're gonna go back into them, and that's where we're gonna get our first batch of users. Okay? Now, this is not the only way you can get users. There are many, many ways of driving traffic and getting users, but we're gonna be focusing in on this one, which is part of the whole flywheel idea.
Now, I have some bonus strategies I'll talk about in a little bit as well. So there are many other ways to get. New users and get traffic to your app. So at this stage it's really quite simple. And I think people will attempt to overcomplicate this. Okay, so just, I wanna really stress, this is incredibly simple.
Don't overcomplicate it. All you do is first you start with the forums. So go back to the prompts from day one sorry, the, the, our guide from day [00:07:00] one. And in there were the search operators, if you remember that. That's the site colon. And then all that stuff that I taught you how to use on Google to be able to go find forums where you wanna take the forum search operator, go back to Google.
And now we're gonna go into those forums. We're going to find the forums where people are complaining about this. We're going to create an account. And we're gonna offer our app as a solution. Okay? So you just go in. Now, I recommend that you actually bother to fill out the profile. So when you go to the website, you'll wanna sign up.
Usually the forums are free. You just go to register, create the account, put in your name, email and they might ask you to put in a bio. Now one thing I'll tell you is don't link back to your website and your bio. Instead just make a regular personal account under your name. Sign up and you drop into the thread where they are [00:08:00] complaining about the problem that you solve.
And oh, got some coffee, special delivery. How about that? I got my D in cup in honor of Roxy.
Thanks, Nick. Cool. So, yeah, so we're, we're gonna go into the forum and then we're gonna drop in and we're gonna say, Hey I made this to help you guys. You know, Hey, I saw this, you guys talking about this. I made this app. It solves this problem. Pop your link in, drop it, and go. Okay. Some forums are gonna complain about that.
Some are gonna say, oh, that's self-promotion, and they might delete your post if that, if they do. So what? There are thousands of forums on the internet so don't worry about that. Don't stress if they happen to not like what you post, but you just wanna be conversational. You wanna be friendly, you wanna be helpful, and you genuinely like, [00:09:00] remember this, you're not on a spam attack, right?
You're not out trying to like. Just blast and self-promote yourself. You're stepping into a conversation that's already happening and you're offering a helpful solution. And it's not a gimmick. I mean, you look at that at, you know, threads that thread or threads like it you found online and you actually created a solution specifically for them, and you're just honestly communicating with them about that.
That's it. No gimmicks, no like black hat spamming strategies, nothing like that. Just honest help that you wanna provide them. And some of them will love it. Some of them will be upset. Some forums have rules against self-promotion. And especially if it's a brand new account, some may not like that you signed up and your very first day you posted a link.
You know, because they are sensitive about spam. 'cause there are spammers, there are black hat people that will try to break the forum rules and they'll drive by and try to drop Viagra, you know, or adult content [00:10:00] spam. And this is all, you know, that's very rude obviously, right? Mm-hmm. And so you're not doing that, but realize that they're very sensitive about it because people do abuse forums and discussion groups and things, right?
So just be cool. Now, if you wanna be extra safe, you can create your account, maybe engage with the forum a little bit, and then make a note to come back in a couple of days and then drop your link. Right? That would be a, a strategy that would be a lot safer, so it takes a little bit more time. Okay. And now how you keep track of all this is, it's just a simple spreadsheet.
So you don't need to like, do anything fancy, simple spreadsheet, word, document, notepad. So you find the thread, you know, organize it register, maybe drop a few comments, and then either you drop your link right away. If you're just ready to drop the link and move on, you can do that or save the link and come back in a couple days and then drop it.
Okay? And that is the first one. And you wanna [00:11:00] start with forums number one. Second thing you're gonna go into is now you're gonna go to Facebook groups and it's the same process. You find the Facebook group, you drop in, you drop a friendly comment, engage with the community, pop your link in. Okay? Again, some Facebook groups might be offended that you dropped the link and you promoted your own stuff.
Many will not care, right? The other thing is, you can also do the same approach. If you wanna join the Facebook group and engage with the community a little bit and then come back a couple of days later, you can do that too. It's really up to you and how much time you wanna devote to do in this. Okay?
If you're, if you're ready, if you're, you know, you just wanna like, put out the links and then if they ban them or delete 'em or whatever, and you're not worried about it, just do it on day one. But if you want to take the little bit more cautious approach again, you know, engage two or three days later, then drop your link.
Okay? So you'll do forums [00:12:00] first, Facebook group, second school groups third. Now school groups are not gonna apply to everyone. And that's school with a K. And again, the links for the, the, the search query to do this is all in the guide from day one. And so, school groups, depending on the niche, there may or may not be many groups in your niche market.
So that's not quite as big as Facebook or other platforms yet. It's growing incredibly fast. But, so there may be some obscure niches that don't have school groups, but it's worth the shot. Give it a, give it a search. See if you can find any. And then the last one, which will be probably the most challenging one, so I may, that's why I make it last, is Reddit.
Reddit is a really weird place, I guess is the simplest way to put it. They can be very sensitive, they can be very opinionated. They love to argue and fight and make people wrong about their opinions and about your behavior and other things. It's a funny place. I stopped. I used to love Reddit. I used to actually be [00:13:00] on Reddit a lot.
And then several years ago I left Reddit and stopped. I don't personally, I don't use it anymore 'cause it's gotten so weird. But it has a huge audience, right? There's a lot of people there. It's shocking how many people go there. And Google actually ranks Reddit threads. The, the AI tools love Reddit threads.
And so threaded is a threaded. Reddit is a a powerhouse when it comes to traffic 'cause that's where the audience is. So it's worth the annoyance of having to deal with all of the weird personalities and issues there. Okay, so that being said, register and get a Reddit account. And use it, you know, actually go engage in a couple of forums, whether they're in your niche or not.
It could be personal interests, it could be your, could be in your niche, get an account, use it, don't register, and then immediately go drop a link on day one, right? That would be, you know, your odds of success with that on Reddit are low. [00:14:00] Okay? All of the others, you can probably get away with it, but here you definitely wanna have let your account age a little bit.
And so, you want a, a, a good seasoned Reddit account is actually very valuable. So if you register it, protect it, make sure that you're engaging with the communities, you're not engaging in spam. And then you could get what's called karma. That's kind of what Reddit is built on. Everybody loves the imaginary internet points that you get at Reddit called Karma.
And so, you get up votes, which then give you karma. And so if you can engage in some people with people comment, you know, maybe you post some helpful advice, whatever, get some karma built up and then you can start to drop some comments. Okay? And that process can take a couple of days if you wanna be really careful, you know, spend a week or two before you start dropping links.
But it does take more effort. Now that being said you know, don't worry about that. And I don't say this to scare [00:15:00] you and make you paranoid about it. Just get in there and do it. Don't worry that you might get it wrong. If you get it wrong. So what, you know, I mean, you'll, what, you'll offend some, you know, internet hipster who's upset, like, okay, so what and maybe a post will get deleted or something.
And then you just apologize. You know, you're, 'cause you know, just remember you intentions are pure. You're not spamming, you're not trying to do anything bad. You're trying to give honest help. And if they don't like it, oh well. So just kinda have that attitude and run through it and do this.
And then you can repeat that cycle. You know, you go back to the forums and put, make some posts for some forums and maybe the next day you'll do Facebook groups again, and then school and then Reddit. You just keep cycling through doing that. Most niches are gonna have an just an endless sea of places to post your solutions to.
Okay. Now, one thing that this is gonna get you is not only is it gonna get you traffic and users, it's also gonna get you [00:16:00] links and some SEO power. So this is very use, a very valuable thing to do if you get this right. And so what I recommend is you do this and you spend about an hour a day. That would be my recommendation.
Once your app is finished, an hour a day, excuse me, ah, losing my voice, which is bad. I have to do a show today too.
Gimme one moment everyone.
All right. So, one hour per day, and you, and you do this process, and I would say do this for 30 days. Stick with it. This is not a thing where you're gonna spend a couple of nights and then you're gonna just walk away and have money pouring down on you. Right? That's not gonna happen. It's gonna take some consistency and you're gonna need to stick with it.[00:17:00]
So do it an hour a night for 30 days. And what I will promise you is that if you do that, you will be amazed at what happens. And, you know, Colin has just barely started doing this. And so, Colin, I wanna ask you based on, you know, just what you've seen so far, how many how many users would you guess you could get if you did this an hour a day, every day for 30 solid days?
I mean, looking at some of the Facebook groups I have pulled up, there's 78,000 members in this one. 11,000 members in this one, and I believe that. My app's gonna help a lot of nursing students. So I think probably at least around 5,000 people, if I'm doing an hour a day, and that's at the least, I'd say
that's pretty cool.
That's pretty cool. So, you know, I think, so let's take somebody else. Maybe they're in a slightly different niche. Maybe they're not quite as skilled at posting as you, and so I don't know, what if we cut that in [00:18:00] half or even less than half, you know? So if you get 2000 new users that is potent and for many people that would be the biggest win you've ever had yet in internet entrepreneurship, that's a huge deal.
Now, there are chances too that your app can go viral, that then the sky is the limit, like it really is. Yeah. There are stories of people that share a free app and like. There is so much traffic that their servers crash and they cannot keep up with the traffic into the demand. So that stuff does happen.
Don't expect that, right? That's not an average or normal thing, but it does happen. So what we wanna do also to cause this to happen is something that we're gonna do with Buildy and we can go into Buildy and we can add a viral feature to our app. And I'm gonna just do this as a, a quick, simple example, right?
But so I'm gonna, I'll, I'll show that in a moment and tell you how to [00:19:00] do it. But before I do, I wanna do a very quick round of q and a when it comes. To this technique of sharing your link. I wanna know if anyone has any worries, concerns, confusions, questions. Let's get those knocked out of the way right now and I'll help you with those.
So let's talk about this strategy first and then next I'm gonna tell you about how to introduce a viral loop so that when you get users, they help you go out and get more users and you start to grow pretty quickly. So we'll get to that next but first questions and and by the way, I do, I am limited on time today 'cause I have my live YouTube show that starts in about 90 minutes from now.
So I'll try to keep this one as quick as I can today. Any questions come in Colin.
We have one from Andrew. What amount of time should we dedicate and deliver and deliver consistent action before we pull the plug and try something new if we aren't getting traction? [00:20:00]
I mean, I would say if you're sh, if you're doing this an hour a day and you're halfway through and you've got like no, like literally no traction, then maybe it's time to reconsider what you're doing or reconsider your niche or of that reevaluate, you know, the ap, you know, the approach or maybe the way you're wording your posts.
But you know, I would be prepared to just buckle down for a good, solid two weeks before you even think about changing directions. Yeah. And by the way, this is the, and this is with any internet business, this is where 80%, maybe 90% of the students that I have coached over the years fail, and it's in this consistency step.
So maybe they'll build aside a blog or an app, whatever they build, and then they dabble with it. Then they don't stay consistent, and then they go, ah, I'm not seeing what the results I want. And then pop, they quit and they move on to the next shiny object. Okay, [00:21:00] I see it over and over and over again. So what I wanna do is set the appropriate expectations for you guys.
This is not a get rich quick scenario. This is stick with it, be consistent, and and just post every day for an hour for two solid weeks before you even let any thoughts creep into your mind about moving on to a different project, a new shiny object, a different niche. And then after that, if it's like, if you're literally getting no results, then okay, it's time to think about shifting your strategy
next.
We don't have too many questions pertaining to that, but someone asked what your YouTube channel is.
Ah, it's my name. So, well, you know what Russ here, you know what I'm gonna, I'm gonna do one second, I'll push this out too so you guys can ah, I'll get my, the link to my channel. I'd love to see you guys over there.
Anybody wants to [00:22:00] keep the party going after we're done here. Let me just go into our chat and see if I can send a broadcast message to everyone. Take three. So this is not gonna be clickable. You'll have to copy and paste it. But I just sent that out to everyone should be coming into your chat panel.
So you can copy and paste that to join me on YouTube at when we are when we are done here. And by the way, go jump over there and subscribe. Anyway, I put out, I do content every week over there, and we do a live show usually every Wednesday.
But okay, cool. Well, if there are no other on topic questions, we are gonna do open questions a little bit later. But if there are no more on topic ones, I'm gonna move on. We're gonna talk about viral marketing.
There is one that just popped in. Should you mention that your app is free?
You know, I don't wanna make it yes.
But watch out [00:23:00] from accidentally sounding like you're selling something. Right? You can, if you're, if you're not careful with how you word it, it can sound like, you know, download my free app, you know, um mm-hmm. You can say, I made this. I just wanna, you know, I, I made this to help you guys. I'm not charging anything for it.
Right. Conversational, don't sound like a marketer. So you don't wanna sound like me when you talk about it being free. And and then you'll be fine. Yeah. I think if you, you talk about, Hey, I made this. There's no charge. I just wanna help people, you know, however you wanna phrase it. That sounds natural to you so that you don't sound like you're pitching something.
Yeah. I do it as a consumer almost like, Hey, I just started nursing school and this app has helped me out a ton. And then I dropped the link. Yeah, there you go. And then people feel like it's less, oh, this guy's not trying to sell me something. This person uses it and it's helping them. So maybe I'll try it.
That's a good approach.
Yeah, you can do it e either [00:24:00] way.
We have a couple more questions coming in now. Um mm-hmm. Posting for an hour versus quantity of posting. Is there an actual number of posts we should aim for as opposed to an hour?
No, because I, I don't want to give an arbitrary number because everyone moves at their own pace.
Mm-hmm. It's more important that you're just consistent, right? If you just, for you, whatever your speed is to do this, you, and, you know, you don't wanna be, like, if you're mo going so fast that you're like, copy paste, copy paste, and then it is kind of bordering on spam. But if you're actually reading the thread, posting a comment that is applicable and fits, you know, and you do wanna go as fast as you can, but you wanna be able to read and actually be part of the community in a sense, right?
So that you're actually understanding what they're talking about and you're posting a relevant comment. So the speed at which you can do that is all you have to worry about. You know, some people are really fast, some people are a little slower, [00:25:00] and it, well, it's again, what's more important is that you honestly spend an hour and you do it consistently.
That's all as fast as you can. Chris says, what about Quora? Yeah, Quora could be another good place. I mean, we didn't really talk about it, but Quora is a place that you can go and you can modify the search operators that I gave you to, to, to do that. You can go site, colon, quora.com space and then, you know, type your keywords.
Yeah, there are many, there are, there's so many other ways to get traffic beyond what I'm showing you today. But just this technique is gonna get you a lot of users just with this alone. And, and of course there's a lot more I can teach you about traffic, but, but that's a great idea. I I, I love the way you're thinking about that.
Mm-hmm. And then we have one more for right now. Posting, oh no, that was one. Gimme one second. I gotta find this one again. I need to turn auto, scroll [00:26:00] off for a second. I have concerns. I really hate social media and posting or interacting. Reddit is just a hostile place, just worried that I won't stay consistent with this method.
Any suggestions?
Put on your battle helmet and your armor and jump in. Jump in there. Yeah. I hear ya. I hear ya. You know, it's funny. I teach social media marketing and I, God knows how, how many, how much amount of money I've spent on ads with the social platforms, but I'll be honest, I don't like them.
I don't like Facebook. It you know, it's, it's kind of a, a cutting, double-edged sword. I love being able to interact and keep in touch with some of the people that I, I don't see very often. You know, business colleagues and associates and clients from all around the world. That's kind of cool, but boy does it.
Speed up my time and there's so much negative emotion attached to what's happening in, in social media, [00:27:00] so I get you. I do understand. So think of it like a, you're, you know, you're like a strike force. You get in, you accomplish your mission and you get out. Right. And then yeah, you just, you just gotta do it.
You just gotta do it. Unfortunately, this is just part of modern life is this is where the people are,
mm-hmm.
And and we have to go to where they are to be able to get them as a user.
Yeah. All right. And then I think, I don't know if this is a suggestion or a question. Someone said, how about newsletters?
Well, the newsletters, there's a whole variety of traffic strategies with that from making your own newsletter to buying ads in newsletters, but it's kind of a different strategy than what we're talking about today.
Yeah.
Again, it's like, you know, there is an infinite, a number of ways I can teach you how to get traffic, but let's focus on this one for, for getting started, you know, and then we'll graduate onto the, the other strategies once you're, once you're doing this consistently.
Well, I think this is a pretty [00:28:00] good one. They purchased a traffic package last year from push button system. Mm-hmm. And they haven't used it. Could it be applied to this app in any way?
I wouldn't recommend that, especially not for getting started. You know, that's something that you might wanna add on later that, that we can talk about, but I, I would not recommend, you know, which is funny, it's my product, right?
But I'm telling you, don't use my product. Don't buy that product just for promoting your app. That these are better ways to do that. Once you're established a little bit, then we can talk about how a traffic pack could kind of fit in and, and help you. Yeah.
All right. That's all for questions for now. Cool.
Alright,
well, like I said, there's a lot more traffic strategies and to a, a self-promotional plug. A fantastic reason to join my mentorship that we offered yesterday. So again, that will be available through Sunday. So make sure you talk to a member of my team [00:29:00] and, you know, get help with that if you're interested in it.
And it's a perfect example of what I can help you with when you join and jump into that offer. So, alright, well with that, let's talk about one more thing related to traffic and then we're gonna move on to making money. And that is we wanna establish a viral loop so that when we get people to come in off of all the places that we're posting, that they will refer their friends and they will tell others who will then tell their friends, who will then tell their friends.
Right? We can build a multi-level marketing pyramid, right? But that's basically what we're trying to do, is to get, to encourage a percentage of your users to tell their friends who then tell their friends. And that's the whole idea of a viral you know, a viral marketing system. And there is a very simple, a technique to do this. I can teach more advanced strategies, but the simplest strategy to use is to ask Buildy to put a button at the top of your app that says, tell a friend. [00:30:00] Pretty simple, right? And that when they click the button, it will pop up a window with a message that they can copy and paste into email into their favorite social media place.
You don't need to do anything fancier than that to get started. Sure. Are there more advanced strategies? Yes, there are, but this is the perfect place to start. Don't overcomplicate it. Just make it really simple. And all we have to do is chat with Buildy and tell it. That's what we want. So let's give it a quick shot to to do that right now.
Let's u let's go to my habit Sleep tracker that I built yesterdays, and we'll go into.
Let's
see if I can get into my habits.
Okay,
there we go. Okay, now we'll
go on the screen here. And so I've got it loaded up. And then here [00:31:00] in build, I'm going to say exactly what I just mentioned,
please. Here, I'll do it by voice. Let's see if it'll work by voice.
Please add a tell a friend button in the top. Navigation it should stand out and be a color that jumps out of the page and says, tell a friend for the button text
when it's clicked. Please pop a window on top of the page. That has
copy and paste text that says quote,
I realize it's spelling quote out. So let me just, just do that. That [00:32:00] says,
now obviously spend more time thinking of a good message than this,
and you would put your actual link to your app in it. And we'll say.
Be sure there's a close window
option so they can close the popup and see the screen
below. Okay, now if you guys want this prompt, let me just copy it. I'll copy it, I'll save it. So I'll send this over to you Colin, so we can share it with [00:33:00] everyone. Okay.
And then we're gonna submit,
it'd be very interesting to see what it builds. Now you can get more specific if you want to tell it different texts on the button, different colors, maybe if you wanna have special hover effects where if you hover over the button, it does special effects. There's a lot you can customize to this, but this is just a very basic example of a prompt.
And so it's doing its thing.
Mine's a popup. Mine pops up when they open, like in, when they log into the app and it pops right up on their screen.
Oh, that's cool.
Yeah. And there, and so there's a lot while we wait for it, rather than just staring at the screen, watching it go. Oh, it actually finished already. Oh, wow. Well, I told it to make it stand out. It really followed my directions. All right. Well, I might try to tone that down a little bit so I could prompt it to [00:34:00] like, you know, make it epileptic friendly.
But see, and there's my, there's that, and then there's a little copy. It's kinda now copied to my clipboard where I can then go share it with my friends.
Okay.
That's all you need to do. Don't make it any more complex than that. And then you now have a viral loop built into your app. Okay. Again, there are more advanced viral strategies, and that's something I'm gonna be sharing in the mentorship program.
As an example, there's something called gamification. Anybody here heard of that before Colin? I think you probably know what that is, right?
Yeah.
Yeah. So that's when you have badges and other elements, awards and things that you're trying to give that little, little dopamine hits to people for taking actions in your app.
Well, we can gamify the viral aspects of our app to cause people to want to, there's a lot of really subtle things that you can do to cause people to be a lot more willing to [00:35:00] share your app with others. And so I'm gonna cover that in our mentorship. It's kind of a bit of a lengthy topic for today, but but that being said, let's continue on.
Cool, cool. Awesome, awesome. Now, at this point, right? So you've got the strategy for doing this. You're gonna be working an hour a day for 30 days. And then, you know, you heard call and he, he thinks he could get probably 5,000 users. His first 5,000 users doing that. I wanna know from you out, out there. So this is a, a mandatory quiz.
Everyone jump into the chat and give me your best guess. And and don't be shy if you don't think it's very many. Tell me what you honestly feel now that you've seen, you know, what we're doing here. You've heard a little bit about it. What would you guess that you could do? And I realize I'm putting you on the spot.
Some of you don't have like a lot of information to predict. But give me your best guess. How many users do you think you could get in your free app if you did an hour a day for 30 solid days? [00:36:00] Okay. And then realize with the little viral loop, that's also gonna help you magnify that number. And let me check the chat and see what everybody's answers are.
I definitely wanna hear from everyone on this one, so let me know. And the numbers are all over the map. From, I see it looks like I see a few people that are in the thousands, like Colin, 5,000, 3000. Mm-hmm. 1500, 600 looks like we're the bottom of the scale right now is about 250. As an example, a thousand, a thousand, 2000 plus 305,000.
Cool. Cool. 300, 600, 500,000. Wow. I like the way you think. Wow. That'd be cool. Yeah. Think big. Yeah. Another one says 1500. Seems realistic. Cool. Four or 5,000. [00:37:00] Okay. 10,000. Awesome. So thanks for that. And you guys are all like in the ballpark honestly. And it's gonna vary niche to niche. So some niches, people are like super excited about jumping in and using apps like this.
Other niches are, you know, maybe they're smaller. Takes a little more time to get users, so it will vary. And I think we're gonna see people that are gonna be all over in this range of how many users that they can bring in. And, you know, if with any luck, you know, I should knock on some wood, someone is gonna have a viral win, right?
And we may all be shocked at that. So, my fingers are crossed. I'm doing all this stuff for good luck for you. But, so I sure hope one of us gets that viral in, but I think a lot of you are in the range. You know, that is realistic. Now, one thing I do wanna say before I move on is that, that is by no means a promise of specific results, okay?
I have to, the, the, I can hear, already hear my attorney. [00:38:00] That is not a specific result. I'm not promising you that you will get that exact same amount of, you know, users. But but just based on my past experience. These are realistic. These are possible, I guess is the best way to put it. Everyone's results will vary.
And and who knows, some may get no results at all. So there we go. My legal disclaimers is done. Okay, now from there what I wanna do next is see, is there any questions about the viral aspect of this? Let's get those outta the way now too. So, any questions about the viral tell a friend thing.
And don't forget, I'll share my prompt with you so you can use that in your app. But any questions about that aspect or about traffic? And then we're gonna move on from there.
Looks like we have one question. Mm-hmm. It depends on your social or I think, I mean, does it depend on your social media presence already?
It does not. No, it does not. You? Well, if you post in [00:39:00] Facebook groups, it is going to use. Your presence, right? You could, you can join a group as either a business page or as a person. And so whichever one you use is what's gonna show the post from in Facebook, everywhere else. You register and create the account from scratch to be whatever you want it to be.
But you do not need like a following. You don't need, you know, fans or anything like that to use this strategy.
And then Chris asks, do we add the viral prompt when we create the app or wait and do it as a change?
Yeah, I would do it at the end, after all of your other app features are, you got 'em, you're happy with them then add that prompt in to, to add this feature.
And you're gonna need to know what your domain name's gonna be too when you, when you set up that prompt, like I had to make up a fake one for my example. But for you, make sure you've picked your domain and you can make sure you put that in there as well. But do it [00:40:00] after all your features are done.
Walter said, which is better biz or personal account wise?
I mean, honestly for this tactic, personal, some people are just dead set against using personal accounts. Like if, if you have a personal preference where you just don't, you'd absolutely don't wanna use your Facebook personal account attached to this, then you can offer the business.
But by far a personal account is gonna get better results for this particular strategy.
Yeah, I know I'm gonna be using my personal 'cause I have like pictures and it's obvious that I'm not like promoting something. At least it makes it look obvious. I'm not.
Cool. What else we got?
Derek asked, do we need the word app in the niche domain?
No.
And then what about X or Instagram [00:41:00] posts or groups, sorry.
Breaking my coffee cups. Sorry.
You could, yeah. I mean, anywhere that has discussions and groups of people interacting is fair game here. You kind of have to read the room, so to speak, and look at the group and kind of feel like if it makes sense for you to post there, but anywhere where there are multiple people engaging in, in your niche and they bring up and discuss the, the problem that you solve is open season on any website, any platform.
It's all open season for you if you want, if you wanna expand, right. I think you're gonna have plenty to do just with the ones that we've already talked about, but you could expand if you wanted to.
That's all I'm seeing for right now.
Okay, awesome. Then let's move on to the fun stuff. So we're gonna make some money with our apps, and we're gonna do that in two ways.
Okay. Well, there's many ways to do it. Okay. But today we're gonna talk about two, [00:42:00] well, two and a half. So first up is affiliate links. I'm a huge fan of this, especially for new businesses. If you're in a niche, you're where it's not a business that you already own, like you're not already in the niche and, and operating, you don't have products for sale and you're just busting into a niche for the first time.
Affiliate is the way to go. And as your business matures, you can add additional ways of making money in the future, but it's kind of a waste of effort to spend a whole lot of time building products or doing a lot of other stuff to, to make money when you don't even have any users yet. So what I love to do is just start building my list.
Start making money from affiliate offers. And then you can graduate up to more advanced ways of making money. Some of you may never want to quit affiliate stuff because it's so easy right now. Again, this is not get rich quick. I don't want to give the [00:43:00] wrong impression, but, you know, compared to like making my own product and running a merchant account and doing customer service, that stuff is hard.
But with an affiliate link, you just put the link up and you let people click it and you make money when they buy stuff. Pretty simple business model. And I, I could see you building an app and making six figures with only affiliate marketing and nothing else. I know people that make seven figures a year in take home, put in the pocket money, and all they do is affiliate marketing.
So now what we're going to do is we're gonna go out and we're gonna research and find affiliate programs. In your niche and the closer they are to the problem you solve, the better. Right. But they don't have to be. 'cause as long as it's somehow related to your niche, you know, I know, like Colin, you had, you had a great idea, which is that all of these nurses are gonna need to be buying the PPE gear and all the like accessories and stuff that go with being a [00:44:00] nurse.
Mm-hmm.
So, you know, why not find an affiliate link where they can go buy that stuff? Yeah. And, and get paid some commission. I thought that was brilliant.
Yeah, I know. My wife isn't even a nurse yet. She's just starting school and she already has badge reels and oils front of her nose for when she starts her clinicals.
Like there's a lot of stuff that goes into what they buy. So I think that'd work really well. And it'd be easy to promote inability because build can just throw whatever in there. So
Yeah. I mean, heck, even Amazon, right? You could even go to Amazon using Amazon Affiliate Link. They pay smaller commissions.
But you know, that, that, that also works. People make a lot of money. You know, like those little $10, $5, even 20 cent commissions at a time. Yeah. So, so that's the trick is to go out and now find affiliate offers that are related and that your audience will find interesting or helpful. Okay? And again, this is so simple, but it's just manual, a [00:45:00] manual step.
Everyone is looking for the magic push button solution here. It, it's gonna take you just a few minutes to do it by hand. And let me show you how.
Okay. Let's get my screen back.
Now, you've probably heard of this 'cause I talk about it all the time. It's ClickBank. Okay. ClickBank is a very ClickBank is down. Oh, let's see.
Oh, maybe I need to put www. There we go.
So ClickBank is easy, right? That's why I like to talk about it. It doesn't cover every niche, and it's not by, by no means is it the only place to go. There's another marketplace similar to it called Digis Store 24. There is and then there are other search engines, which I'll show you in a minute where you can find affiliate offers.
But you can go right into the ClickBank marketplace. And, and we can pull over here and they got a [00:46:00] whole directory for different niches. So look for your niche. Let's look what's in the travel niche. Well, not a lot in the travel niche. Let's try
employment and jobs. Okay, a couple offers here. So ClickBank is a great place, but that's again, by no means the only one.
So if we go to the G store, 20 four.com,
that's another one. Okay. And then there are tons of affiliate networks. These are called affiliate networks, where you go to get these, these links and you just sign up and get approved. Now, what I would recommend, and here, let me go. Now, I'm gonna show you, if we just go to Google
and we're gonna say
Elliott Networks and there are [00:47:00] dozens of different affiliate networks, okay?
Here's an article from Shopify. Let's take a look. So 10 different affiliate networks. Right here that they recommend. So you can look at all of these places for offers and you can go sign up and get your links, and then you come back to buildy. And all you do is you guide Buildy on adding those links into your app.
And there's a whole variety of different ways to do that. You could tell it to make a resources page right, and link to it prominently all over your app. And in the resources page, you could have all your affiliate links, you could have popups that pop up and promote stuff while they use your app.
They, you could have just like regular banner ads and text ads. And all you have to do is talk to Buildy, tell it what you want, and, and give it the link. Say, here's my link from ClickBank. I wanna promote this offer. Here's what I want you to say. Here's where I want you to put it, and it will do it for you, right?
And then now your app is [00:48:00] loaded up with money making links. Now, here's something I do want to tell you is that I know people love to rush into this part, and what I'm concerned about is that you'll wait until you've loaded up your app with affiliate links before you start promoting. That's backwards. I know it doesn't feel backwards, but it is.
The way to do it is to leave your app without any affiliate links and start promoting it first. Get some traction, get some users, and then worry about loading it up with affiliate links. Okay? So that's the correct sequence to do it. That's why I'm teaching this part last. And, and, and, and for example, Colin, I think that's kind of your approach, right?
I mean, I don't, I know you're not really super focused on the monetization at this point.
Yeah, I'm really just trying to get as many users as possible. And now that you've said it, I'm probably gonna do an hour a day and try to get these 5,000 people that I think I can get. So that's gonna be the goal.
And then I think maybe once I hit 5,000, I'll start monetizing. [00:49:00]
Fantastic. Fantastic. So, and but that's it. And that is the process. And what I wanna do, make, show you one other thing is, let's go back to Google
and the other thing is Google is your friend. Okay? We can say nursing affiliate programs
and there's a bunch of 'em here.
Oh wow. I gotta
write that out. So what is this one?
Hmm? Is this like a thing? I can't quite tell what this. Oh, it's test prep. Oh, huh. So it's helping the nurses pass their tests, pass their exams to get licensed. So you'll find all kinds of really unexpected affiliate programs when you do this.[00:50:00]
Oh, interesting. So here's one 30% commission specifically for nurses. So you wanna check this one out? Calling, it's Remar nurse. But that, that's it. Like you just do that. Now, the other thing, one other thing I'll give you another tip is we can use chat GPT. Okay? The best way to do it is to use deep research, okay?
I'm not gonna burn up my deep research credits. I use a lot of 'em for business, so I'm not gonna burn it up for a demo, but you would select deep research. In this case, I'll just do a quick web search and I'm gonna say, please find me
a,
a big list affiliate programs in the nursing niche. Please include links to join the [00:51:00] programs.
Okay? And again, if you've done deep research, you can get a lot of links. Okay? And we'll give it a minute to do its thing. So chat boutique sometimes takes a bit. And so that's where we get all of our money making links. Okay? Now don't forget, you have also built a list. So like Colin's example, when he has 5,000 users, he has a 5,000 person nursing list.
Now check this out. You know how much money I make per subscriber on my list. I did the math this, this morning. So $2 and 32 cents per month. So you can start again. I'm not promising results. I'm not saying you're gonna make any specific monetary amount. In fact, odds are you probably won't, but I'm just giving you some, some, some of my experience for you to judge for yourself, right?
So for my business, I make [00:52:00] $2 and 32 cents per subscriber per month. So, Colin, you could do the math on that. Right? Well, let's see. So you said $2 and 32 cents. Yep. $2 and 32 cents.
And I wanna also say these are all like forward future looking statements that were predicting. These were not guarantees but I'm just telling you as a basis of what do I make. Okay. So for all of you, yeah.
Yeah.
So pretty good number, right? Yeah. It's a job replacement number. So for all of you who answered earlier, you could start to think about that, you know, and think, well, what if, so, okay, that's me.
Like I, I'm making a 2 32, but I can tell you what the average is. Across all industries is about a dollar per user, per email [00:53:00] subscriber per month. So even if you do, let's say you're doing half or less than half of what I am to because you're new at this and who knows what, you know, depending on the niche you're in, you could make more money than me, could make a lot less than me, but let's just cut it down less than half at a dollar.
So you start to have some idea of what's possible here. Okay. And which is exciting, right? That that's pretty, pretty darn cool. Now you, you do need to get into knowing how to use your email list properly. So there's definitely a lot of training that goes with that. That's like, I, I could do a whole course on that alone.
I'm gonna do some bonus training in our mentorship program which I'll talk about in a couple of minutes to help you with that. But that's an example of what we're trying to do here. And so with nothing but affiliate offers, no, it's not selling anything of your own. If you were able to get those users and those subscribers.
And then you just make sure you're sending frequent emails, right? Don't [00:54:00] you know the thing that I hate is when I see people, they build up a valuable list and then they don't use it Drives me nuts if there's so much money in the list, but you have to use it consistently. You know, again, remember I said earlier, consistency is the key to success in business.
Not tactics and strategies and all these other things, but consistency. And so if you're consistently sending emails to your list, you know, maybe it takes you a week, a month, whatever it takes for you to kind of get it figured out so that you know what kind of stuff to say to your list and you know what kind of offers to offer them.
And you can get to these kind of numbers where you're making predictable income every month for every subscriber on your list. It's absolutely possible. Let's take a look real quick at what chatt PT said. It came back here. Boy. I should send this to you, Colin. Please do. Yes.
I do have a question. Mm-hmm.
So I know I'm waiting to [00:55:00] do the affiliate stuff until I have all of my leads, but would you recommend applying for these programs ahead of time?
Yeah. I mean, the, the way I would do it is get your app published. First of all, make sure that it is live and online and that you have started to get some traction.
Okay. So I, I would, I would wait till you're like, it's published, it's live, you're starting to get some traction
mm-hmm.
And then go apply to these affiliate networks. It will increase your odds of being accepted. Okay. Yeah. If you apply early on, especially before your, like your app is launched mm-hmm.
There's a chance, a pretty high chance that they will reject you.
Okay. Makes sense.
Yeah. Yeah.
All right. Good to know. Thank you.
Yeah, and it just kind of depends on, you know, when you're feeling it, you know, like how much time you have on your plate, when you want to go apply, you know, do you have traction?
And you know, and you don't have to wait until you're at 5,000 users. You could do it much earlier than that, but
mm-hmm.
It's [00:56:00] whenever there is no set time where it's like, Hey, on day 7.5, you go, sign up. It just, you know, whenever it fits in your schedule and you're ready for it. Okay. Awesome. Yeah.
All right. Cool. So, so I'm gonna need to save that chat for Colin. I'll send that to you. Awesome. But but that gives everybody else an idea of just how easy it is. I think people, they overcomplicate and they, they worry that getting into affiliate offers is gonna be really hard. It's it, as you can see here, it's, it is not it's very easy to find money making affiliate offers for your niche.
And so, yeah, so I would like to do a round of questions on this topic, and then I wanna talk a little bit about our mentorship program. 'cause I am stacking some bonuses. I, I based on some of the feedback that I have gotten from people who joined and people are thinking about joining, I know a lot of people are thinking about the you know, how to get traffic and particularly how to work your email list.
So I'm gonna talk about some bonuses I'm adding into the mentorship to help you with both of [00:57:00] those things. But first some questions.
All right, we have a couple right now. How do we choose quality affiliate offers?
I mean, all you can do is look at them. And with your own judgment kind of decide.
Does, does the website look professional? Do they have products and services that you think your niche would want? Right? So remember, if you've applied the Ikigai strategy, you should be in a niche that you, you're kind of interested in, you're kind of curious about it at least, or maybe you know a lot about it.
So you should be able to look at the websites and kind of judge for yourself. I wish there was some like rating system or some methodology to being able to tell you you know, how to predict. There's not. You just have to sign up, get your link and test it. Mm-hmm. And so, you know, it becomes a process.
Get your link. You test it, you put it in your app. If you've been sending clicks to the [00:58:00] offer and no one's buying, you know, let's say you've sent 200 clicks to an offer and literally no one bought, then get rid of. And go out and find another one and replace it. Right? And it's a process of, of doing that is how then you find the, the, the gold.
You know, like in my affiliate career, that's what worked for me is I found offers that when I look at the page, it's like, oh, I think people would wanna buy this. I sign up, I promote it, don't get many sales, I switch it out and I keep doing that. And then all of a sudden, pop one takes off and it starts making sales.
And that's the process.
All right. Where do you put your bank info to get the money?
Each network is different. Some affiliate offers you work directly with the company and it's all varies. Like there's no one size fits all answer. So at some point in the process you'll need to get paid. So, you'll have to put in a, you know, bank wire or direct deposit [00:59:00] details or something to get your money, but it'll, it'll vary program to program.
All right. Would I be able to create apps for clients and make money that way with this?
It, that's a thing we're gonna be talking about in the future. You know, right now this is about making apps for yourself. In about a month, you're gonna hear more from us about how to make apps for clients.
Yeah. Alright. But yeah, this strategy is specifically about making 'em for yourself.
Do we need to create unique offer bonuses for promoting offers?
You don't need to. You don't need to. No. Let's just keep it simple. No, you don't need to do that.
Could we make a newsletter instead of a course using the course material for the newsletter?
Well, here, we're not making a course, we're making an app. Right. So I'm slightly confused about the, [01:00:00] the question. But yeah, we're, we are making a, we have an app and we're generating subscribers, so if you want to send your subscribers a newsletter, you absolutely can.
And they probably get value from it, you know, you know, I call and you could, you could have a weekly newsletter about the, you know, the, the nursing field, you know. Yeah.
That's all I'm seeing right now for questions. Alright, cool. Yeah.
Alright, well I would like to talk a little bit about our mentorship program and then we're gonna open up to do Ask Me Anything.
And so that was, that's the agenda ahead. So I know there's a bunch of people that are very interested in the mentoring program, but are kind of on the edge, like. You know, I know you have questions. Some, many of you have held your spot, some of you have jumped in. And I wanna talk a little bit more about mentorship 'cause I think I think it's gonna benefit a lot of you very a lot.
So in addition to all the stuff you heard me talk about in the mentorship program yesterday we have some extra bonuses [01:01:00] that I have created and am creating over the next week specifically tailored for you. So I got some feedback from everybody on what are the points that you felt you really needed help with to be successful?
And two things came up. Number one is the traffic. So the traffic element. So you have your basic strategy that we've talked about today, but what I would like to do is take that to a whole other level. Okay? And let me find my notes here. Okay, so what we're gonna do is we're gonna dive deeper into the viral marketing tactics.
So I have an advanced viral marketing strategy where we can gamify or incentivize and make people really go wild to promote your app. So when you get a user, you can be far more likely for your app to go viral. Okay? So I'm gonna be doing a special training session all about this stra strategy, but also two other bonus traffic strategies that are [01:02:00] specifically built for you.
The apps that you, we are making here in the, the free tool flywheel. So you're gonna get three bonus traffic strategies from me when you join our mentoring program. You're gonna get the viral marketing and then two other surprise traffic strategies that you'll learn all about when you join the mentoring program.
So I'm gonna be putting that together. It's a. A, a, a mini workshop that we'll be doing on how to take your app and get tons and tons of traffic with some of these pretty powerful traffic strategies. And there's strategies that I just don't have time to fit into a three hour workshop, you know, like our time here today we'll be wrapping up and I just don't have the time to squeeze all of it into a three day program.
So we're gonna spin it off and I'll do these advanced traffic strategies as part of our mentorship. So everyone who joins, whether you joined yesterday or over the next couple of days you will all be getting this bonus. It's an exclusive bonus for those who jump in as part of our kind of early access to this [01:03:00] program.
And then the second bonus that I'm stacking in again, based on your feedback, people were, they expressed uncertainty about money making. And so the I got a lot of feedback that people want to make more money or want to learn. How to make sure they make more money with their apps. And so I'm gonna zero in on my number one strategy, which is email.
By far it is the number one money maker in all of my businesses. I know a lot of people think email's old, which it is. Email's been around for a long, long time, but it is in every one of my businesses right now, today in the modern era, it is number one by a long shot of how of, of, for money, right? In fact, some of my businesses, I would say email is responsible for 70, 80% of all the income that comes into those businesses is all because of how we do email marketing.
And I told you before, I earn $2 and 32 cents [01:04:00] per email subscriber per month from my email list. And so what I would like to do is take all of my learnings of how do I do that and then teach you. How to do it. How do you take those affiliate offers and structure an email to promote those affiliate offers?
And how do you, how do you run and operate your email list? Ideally, should you get a newsletter, you know, and send out a, like a weekly newsletter like we talked about, or should you send daily emails or what should you send to them? And I'm even gonna show you how you can automate the writing of your emails.
So, yeah, there's, there's a lot that's gonna be included that with that. So, and then finally the other part that, that people are struggling with is just in some of the details of implementation. Which is what the mentorship program is really all about where we're going to help you with some of those done with you, done for you and even the Lifelines for tech stuff.
So you can get through some of that uncertainty about whether you can do [01:05:00] this. So my team will help you all the way through the process. And so those are some of the benefits of that mentoring program. And if you'd like to rewatch the pitch part so you fully understand what's in it. I put in a special keyword into our chat, and I think it's replay, I believe is what the word is.
Let's see. I think Daniel plugged that in. Let me check and make sure. Yeah, it should be on there. So if you go into the chat right now and type the word replay. Yesterday's session was kind of long. So what we did to, as an understatement. So what we did is we clipped out just the offer of what the mentorship program is, how it works, all what's in it and that piece is available to watch as a standalone replay so you don't have to set through the whole lengthy session from day two.
And to get that link, if you wanna just go zero in and watch that replay, just type replay into the chat. [01:06:00] And it should trigger back. And let me see if that's working.
Let's
see. Is that working? Hey, it looks like it is. Okay. I think it's working. So hopefully it works for you, but it does look like it's working for me.
So just type the word replay and that will get you the link to go check that out. And the mentorship offer is gonna remain open through Sunday and the next week when I get back from my trip, we will start the program. And so with that, what I would like to do now is just kick it open to wide open questions.
All right.
I'm digging through here. Yeah, no, no problem. No problem.
Eric, I asked do the bonuses cover all three levels of the mentorship program? [01:07:00]
Yes, they do. Yeah. The bonuses that I'm stacking in which I did a bonus yesterday, that was automating your market research. So that process of searching Google and finding problems and uncovering your app ideas, I'm building an app for you that automates that whole process.
So that's, that was the bonus I offered yesterday. And then today it's the. The traffic workshop and the email list monetization workshop. I'm adding sort of three total bonuses that I'm adding in for everyone who who jumps into that.
Can you give examples of how offers would be built within the app?
What would that look like? Is it a popup somewhere on the app or page? Is there a preferred way to show multiple offers? So it's not overwhelming?
Yeah, I would say you have to pick and choose and you don't want you don't want your app to look like nascar, right? If you think of, if you think of nascar, right?
And the, the, the cars are just like [01:08:00] loaded with the, the sponsor stuff over the whole car, right? Like, it looks like a, a patchwork quilt of sponsors. You don't want your app to look like that. So, and it doesn't take a lot of affiliate offers to make money. Okay. So if you want to put a lot of offers in, what I would recommend is you tell Buildy you wanna create a resources page, and then on your resources page you can have a link and then a paragraph kind of pitching what that thing is.
And then a link and a paragraph and a link and a paragraph. You just make a long page if all your offers and then you can link prominently to that all through your app, right? The other way to go about it is just to pick two, maybe three different affiliate programs and selectively ask Buildy to put links.
You could put them in the top navigation, you could have them put in the sidebar, and it's really easy to do. And again, this is kind of part of what I'll be coaching you on, on, on the moneymaking bonuses as part of our mentorship. But, you know, let's say here, I'm gonna just, I'm just gonna make something up [01:09:00] 'cause I don't have an affiliate offer, right?
But I'm gonna say I'm, please create
a. New button in the top navigation that says
Fix your sleep.
Link it to, and now this would be my affiliate link. I'm just gonna make this up.
Okay. So I'm saying link to there and make sure it opens in a new tab. That's an important thing you want to do. And then you can [01:10:00] say,
adjust the. Medication as needed to make it fit, but do not change anything else. Do not add, edit, or remove anything except my instructions above. Okay, and then we're gonna submit it.
Now you, some of your apps might have sidebars on the left or right hand side. If they do, you can put links to that. And then another place you could put it, like, if we, we come here and look like there's some helpful tips down here, we could make a tip that ties into an affiliate offer and put it here.
Right. So it's just like, it's content marketing almost, right? It's like helpful tips along with a little link there. And we can put like, we can drop those in as an example. And so there [01:11:00] might be a, a a, you could put tips on your daily log page. You could put tips on your habits page and so then you can sprinkle them in and sort of, I don't wanna say disguise them 'cause that's not really what I mean.
But you wanna like provide useful information and tips, but then also plug your affiliate link. So that was another way to do it. And see, there we go. Fix your sleep. There's my affiliate link right there, right next to my very annoying tele friend button.
Okay, cool. Well, alright, so let's go back to questions. And I do wanna let everyone know that I am a little bit short on time today. I have to drop outta here. Fairly soon to go jump on my live show. So I do hope to see you guys on my YouTube channel and and we're gonna have, be doing a show.
I'm gonna build five businesses in a row. The challenge is, can I build five businesses in 15 [01:12:00] minutes? And can I do that with building? So we're gonna do that on the YouTube channel right after this this workshop. So, if you wanna join me over there, that'd be, it'd be awesome to have you there.
But and then I wanna also remind you if you'd like to watch the replay to see the pitch of the mentorship program, if you wanna learn all about I should call it the offer. A more appropriate persuasion word. If you wanna see the offer for our mentorship program just type the word replay into the chat and it will give you the link to go watch that.
And then also, if you are interested in mentorship and you would like to chat with someone about it, let us know in the chat as well. And someone on my team will will reach out to you and get in touch. I, I would love to have you be part of that program. And we'll take everything you've learned from this workshop.
Number one, we're gonna make sure you have all the help you need, the accountability, the inspiration to implement, [01:13:00] stay consistent, and actually get results. And then I'm gonna show you how to get more traffic, and I'm gonna show you how to make more money with your email list. That's the, that's our agenda in that mentorship program.
So, check it out. And with that we'll go to the next question.
All right. What time is the mentorship program and how many days will it be?
Okay. Well, the mentorship program is ongoing for as long as you want, right? So when you go check it out, you can learn about all the details of how that works.
But like there are things in the mentorship program like the lifelines that are whenever you need them. So if you need a lifeline in three months from now, it's, you have it, it's you're, that's part of what you're getting. If you need a lifetime lifeline in six months from now, you got it. And then we have the mentorship and there are various levels.
If you join our Ultimate program you for example, will have eight weeks of mentorship with your own dedicated coach to, you know, meet with you on Zoom and walk you [01:14:00] through and help you with in chat support. And so it depends a little bit on what you would like to buy. The sessions with me.
There's gonna be two of them. So we have a session that is about making money with your list, and then there'll be a, an entire course, a guidebook and a course that comes with that on all about how to make the most amount of money with your list. And then the second one is about traffic, and that'll be the same thing.
So you get two sessions with me. And then two courses, there'll be mini courses. They're not really super, you know, don't worry, you don't have to go through like hundreds of hours of training or anything. There are mini courses that are all focused on how to implement quickly and get quick results. So that's, that's kinda some of the things that come with it and the timing.
So I noticed that you went back into build and what you worked on yesterday still appears. But what if you started a new project? What do you need to do to get [01:15:00] back to the one that you completed before you left the first one? Are these saved so you can easily pull them back up?
Yes, they are saved and they're, it's super easy to get back to them.
Let me, let me just, I'll show you that in a second. I'm just checking with something behind
the scenes.
Okay. And let me now
show you where that's at. Okay. So all you need to do is go to the homepage. So if we go to build e.ai and then make sure you're logged in,
and then you'll see all your past projects down here. Just scroll down and you'll see them all there. And then if we click load more, you know, here's all you can tell. I've been testing a little bit. And yeah, so that's where they are. And then if you're inside of a project. It is really easy to get back to that page too.
So the top left up here, see the little [01:16:00] dropdown. So if you click that you can see go to projects and that's just gonna take you back to the homepage. Okay. And then of course you can also, if you want to delete a project, click the three little buttons and delete it. Or while you're in the project, you can also delete
it there.
Okay.
There you go.
All right. Chris asked will the research bonus give you the links to forums and groups that uses,
Yes. So it's gonna do the searching for you. And yes, I will. The beauty of it is, is, is we're making it for you. It's being made by, you know, made with Buildy custom developed. So if, who wants that feature you want, so we can have it do the research and give you a research report, but I could also have it spit out all links to all of the the places so you can go back and post your stuff is who wants that?
Gimme a me in [01:17:00] the chat.
And I'm not getting an answer for my question over here in my group chat. Let me see. I,
yeah.
Everyone's
saying me. I knew you would, but
I gotta ask. You know, definitely had to ask. Okay. Well then I'm gonna make it that way. So if that's what you want, that's what you'll get. So, again, that's the special bonus for joining. So if you do decide to join our mentorship program, I will give you that app and I will build it that way.
So I'll make sure that it does the research gives you a bunch of app ideas and gives you the list to all of the problems.
Okay. I already have the commission engine program. How is this different and would it be beneficial to be part of both?
Yeah. This is quite a bit different than the commission engine program.
So Commission Engine does not use [01:18:00] Buildy, does not use apps, is a whole different and separate. System. It builds courses and it helps you do affiliate marketing with courses. And it builds 'em on the WordPress platform. And what we do here is completely different and it builds an app following the practices of, you know, what we've gone through with the workshop.
And they can go together, they can be very complimentary for each other. You could put your affiliate course in the same niche as the app that you're building and that they would go together beautifully that way. So they are two separate things, and it would definitely be worth doing together.
If it, if it's in your budget and it makes sense, then I, I would recommend it.
Yeah.
And oh, by the way, I found out our, our magic keywords are visible as well in the chat. So. If if you already know you're ready to go and you're you're wanna jump in and become part of the mentorship, all you gotta do is type three [01:19:00] magic words, which is, I need this. Type that into the chat. So type those three magic words.
I need this into the chat. If you're ready to jump in and become part of the mentorship program that's how you would get access. I need this. And yeah, so pop those keywords in there and that'll take you right to go check out and join the program. And what other questions have we got?
Do you need to upgrade to the mentorship program to fully use build?
No, everyone here has a build the account that is fully active. So you have a 21 day free trial, so you can use it for free for 21 days. And by the way, if you upgrade and join the mentorship, you're only gonna have one monthly payment, not two. So the, the free trial, there's a monthly fee that can comes with that, that starts billing in 21 days from now.
If you upgrade and get in the [01:20:00] mentorship program there, there's not gonna be two payments. It'll still only be one. And the payment doesn't start for 30 days instead of 21. So you get a, an extra week of free access to billing. And you'll have one single monthly payment when you join the mentorship program.
You know, and, but those that don't join, just for clarity, if you do not join our upgrade program. You still have access to building that's not changing. So you'll have everything you need to build and you know, you can take everything I've taught you in the three day program, execute and get awesome results.
So I wanna make sure that's really clear that there's nothing more that you have to have. If you want the extra help, if you want the done for you aspects and the technical support lifelines and the additional bonuses, and you want the VIP kind of experience, then upgrade. But you, by no means do you need it to get results.
And then kind of to [01:21:00] piggyback off of that Steve asked about the, he said there is no performance guarantee for the light program. And then he said, does that mean you're on your own?
It doesn't mean you're on your own. But what it does mean is I'm not like the other programs, they, they're they're priced in a way where I can give you a lot more resources, right?
So when I know that I'm gonna give you all this extra help because I can budget it, I can afford it based on the price, then I know your odds of succeeding you know, are, are like incredibly high. And so that's why I can offer that performance guarantee. With the light program, you're not on your own, but you don't have the same level of hands-on help.
You still get our VIP support, you still get tech support, right? So you're not left on your own. In fact, tech support will even jump on Zoom and help you with tech issues and, and and make sure that you get all the help you need. So you're by no means left on your own, you just won't have some of the extra stuff that the other programs come with.
[01:22:00] That's all. And then because of that, you know, I can't, you know. Yeah, it's, I can't offer that performance guarantee 'cause we're not hands-on with you you know, to, to guarantee your success.
All right. I went to build e build site. After clicking the link, do I need to log in on it or just start using it?
Oh, when you click your confirmation link. Yeah. So there's, so what you'll need to do, you, we've all, we've sent you all emails from, you'll get it from a, a, a, it'll come from Super Dev. That's what Build to used to be called. So you'll get any email from Super Dev, you click that link, you absolutely must do that.
And then there's a second part. Then just fire up an email to my support team and say my account is active. And you would do that by sending an email to support at push button ai support@pushbutton.ai. And then my team was gonna upgrade your account. [01:23:00] Because I wanna give you a special account, you know, that's that 21 day free trial for a much higher level account with more credits, more AI usage, and more features.
So I want to give that to you for 21 days. And so definitely let us know as soon as you have confirmed your account.
All right. If I buy the top package and I have trouble doing something and can't figure it out, is it done for me?
Yes. So at the Ultimate program, you know, you have, there's so many things you get for help from our normal tech support on Zoom to our VIP regular support.
On top of that, you have your one-on-one coach and mentor who's gonna, you know, they'll be on Zoom with you every week. Plus they're available by, you know, email and chat coaching. And then after all of that, if you're still stuck and you're not able to like. Technically do something or there's a tech issue, you pull your lifeline and that's where you can get a member of my tech team, that's my personal [01:24:00] team of developers.
So that could be anywhere from one of our junior people all the way up to a senior level developer, depending on what help you need. So that's when the lifelines come in. So you, and as an ultimate program, you get all of those things.
All right. Andrew asked, are there step-by-step tutorials on build D and should I have received my Build d account activation link in instruction?
You should have received your billi activation link. Yes. And it will come from Super Dev. Now if you don't see it, make sure you check spam, make sure it's not hiding in a folder somewhere. 'Cause they definitely went out, so they should be all be in your inbox by this point. And be sure to go click it,
you know?
And, and then as far as instructions, that's the training I've given you here. And then there's a help guide that you can follow on the Build d.ai site as well. And then you can use our support. If you get stuck, you don't know what to do, just reach out to [01:25:00] support.
When will the bonus courses be available in, in the advanced app courses with Ross? Well,
Bodie and Roxy are very excited about these bonuses.
I heard. Yeah,
they want them now. Mm-hmm. So this all starts at the end of the week. So, next week, at the end of the week will be the first session.
I, I'm, I'm going on, I'm going on a trip, so I'll, I'll, as soon as I get back I'll know the exact schedule and I will email you all. But it will, it's, the first day is gonna be Thursday, possibly Friday, but as soon as I'm back in town and I can schedule it, I'll book it in. And of course it'll be recorded, so it'll be recorded if you miss it.
But our first session is either gonna be Thursday or Friday, I'm not sure which yet.
And then when will the research app bonus be available?
Effect when we get together, that's [01:26:00] the first thing I'm gonna give you. So as soon as we have that first day, I will give you the research app.
Yeah.
Would Buildy be a good tool for leading people through a step-by-step process to get a desired result, like a course? In other words, how do you define what an app should help you accomplish?
It would absolutely be good for that. And in fact, one of the things that you are all going to get is training from Ross.
I dunno if you remember me talking about that, but Ross is the guy who he gets credit for inspiring me to jump into this whole world of AI coding. And so, so he actually used Buildy to create an entire step-by-step training process on how to use buildy. And you all get access to it. And he actually shows you how he built the app that you were in.
It's like this whole like inception of buildy. So he used Buildy to make a, a training [01:27:00] process on how to use Buildy and you're gonna be in the app that he built while you watch in the app that he built. Does that make sense? Yeah, it makes sense to me. But and you all will get that as part of the mentorship program.
The old section,
do you, do you still get email autoresponder in hosting with bare bones build e subscription and no mentorship program?
Yes. Everyone here, if you're in the workshop, you got your ticket to the workshop. That's the special upgraded account that I'm giving you. You get access to the email marketing system, whether you upgrade or not.
So that's, that's yours as part of what you get. And that's the, the 21 day trial. You know, which will, the monthly fee will begin billing in 21 days if you decide you want to keep it.
Yeah.
That's all I'm seeing for questions right now. Someone said the dogs are chasing the guy with the chainsaw.[01:28:00]
Yeah, they, it's amazing. Like no lawnmowers, no like blowers, chainsaws. It was pretty quiet today except for the dogs. Yeah. So, alright, well then with that we are gonna wrap up 'cause I need to jump off camera here. And head over to our YouTube show. But I do, you know, let me, I'll pop the link out again if you wanna, you guys wanna join me over there?
You get to see if, can I build of course. Now I lost my link. So the question is, can I build five businesses in 15 minutes? That's the, that is the question. My son otherwise also known as producer Nick on the show. He's gonna be there with me and that's the challenge he's given me. He's given me a list of five different kinds of businesses and my challenge is to build them all in 15 minutes.
That's
a
pretty cool challenge. I like that. Yeah, so I just popped that out there. And then I do wanna remind everyone that we have some magic [01:29:00] links for you. So if you wanna watch the replay for the offer of how of our, you know, what's in the mentorship program, type replay into the chat. If you're ready to join the mentorship program type, I need this.
So it's either replay to watch the replay, or I need this to go check it out now. Or if you want our payment plan options, you type in flex pay. So those are our three options. So replay, I need this or flex pay. Those are the three options available to you. And then of course, also if you just wanna talk to someone, speak up in the chat and you can also say, hold my spot that I forgot.
There's another keyword. So if you do wanna speak to someone, type, hold my spot. And my team will follow up with you. And it's like a, a chance for you to, it's a little reservation, you know, non-binding. So if you re where you can reserve your spot and chat with somebody on my [01:30:00] team by typing, hold my spot.
So those are all of the options. And unless was there any other questions? Andrew asked
one he said I think it was piggybacking off of the last one.
Mm-hmm.
Since it's included, how do we activate the email marketing system
again? Well, we, in the training from yesterday, there is a the I think, what do we call it?
The prompt guide that, that walks 'em through that, yes. Okay. So there's a written document that you can download and it walks you through step by step what you do to get your domain name, which by the way, I gave you all a domain. If you're a, if you're a new customer, if you're an old customer who's already got domains with us.
But if you, you, you don't get this, but if you're a new customer, I gave you your first domain for free and I gave you step-by-step instructions on how to go register your domain, attach it to your build site and get your email marketing suite. You just follow step by step. It'll tell you how to do it.
It's [01:31:00] all on day two's replay page. So
yeah, it should be right under bonus, right below the video.
Yep. Perfect. Alright. Awesome. Well then with that I. I gotta jump outta here. So I got the show starting in just a minute. All right. It's a crazy day. So I finish the workshop here, then I do my live show on YouTube, and then I race to the airport to make my flight.
And and off my wife and I go for our anniversary. So, with that I'm gonna head outta here. And Colin, again, thank you so much for being part of this and, and being willing to step up and show everyone what you're, what you've been doing. I, I really appreciate it.
Yeah, thank you for having me.
I appreciate you guys and I'm gonna keep building, so
keep on building. Yeah. Alright everybody, thanks for being part of the workshop. You still have a bonus day. Don't forget, my team is gonna email you. They're gonna join you. You get to talk to Jake and some of the other members of my team who are gonna help make sure that you [01:32:00] can implement what you've learned in these three days and you can get results.
So that goes to everyone, regardless of whether you jump into the mentoring or not, you all get the bonus day, which happens on Friday. So keep an eye on your inbox for that. And with that, I get ahead outta here. Goodbye for now. See you later.
